Tryouts have been concluded and all teams are currently full except for the 98 girls team which has 1-2 spots open for some talented players. Selected players will be offered a contract to play for a particular team until July 1, 2012. If a player and parent signs the contract, a down payment is due upon contract acceptance in July. For Competitive (Select) teams the API season starts February 12th. The season could be played as late as May 29th, so keep that in mind for vacations. Deadline for us to register Academy teams is January 10th, so coaches need to have their teams formed and 1st payments collected by then. Congratulations to the Academy Boys team, coached by Elias Rios and Lanny Martindale, for winning their way to the Semi-Finals of the Winter Storm 5-A-Side tournament this past weekend. They fought hard all weekend eventually losing to F.C. Cleburne Dynamos FC will have two floats in this year's Christmas Parade on December 3, 2010. Girls teams will be on one float and boys teams on the other. The parade starts at 6:00 pm from Hulen Park, however we need everyone to be there at 4:00 pm to get things setup and to have a ribbon cutting since we joined the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce.Players need to wear their RED jerseys for this parade. The Cleburne Dynamos FC will have Academy teams this year for U9/U10 players. Players normally participate in recreational soccer in addition to an academy team. The team will play in the Arlington Premier Academy League (PAL) for the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 seasons. Our academy teams also play in tournaments and indoor soccer throughout the year.
