The Cleburne Dynamos FC will have Academy teams this year for U9/U10 players. Players normally participate in recreational soccer in addition to an academy team. The team will play in the Arlington Premier Academy League (PAL) for the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 seasons. Our academy teams also play in tournaments and indoor soccer throughout the year. Practices will be held on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Cleburne High School. Players are welcome to show up for practice and meet the team and the coach without any commitments.
The Cleburne Dynamos FC Academy Program is designed to support and guide those who wish to make the transition from recreational to competitive soccer. The program is geared to the more technically advanced and athletically motivated recreational player. Players with a strong desire to increase their technical skills while also learning more about the game of soccer will greatly benefit from our academy program.
The most important aspect of the Cleburne Dynamos FC Academy Program is training. Technical and small-sided tactical training is provided 2 times per week by our professional coaching staff. Training activities are devised to help players develop and improve technically/skills, tactically/decision making, physically/fitness, psychologically/mental toughness.
*Players must wear the following to all training session: Soccer shorts, soccer socks, shin guards (no exceptions), proper training top.
